Rat Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the StitchLogic mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use StitchLogic.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Quilting experience level
You may optionally opt in to receive marketing emails from us.
Fabric Photos
Photos you take of your fabrics are stored locally on your device. If you are a Pro subscriber with iCloud sync enabled, photos may also be stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not store your fabric photos on our servers.
Location Data
The Shop Finder feature uses your device's location to show quilt shops and longarm quilters near you. Location data is used only for this purpose and is not stored on our servers.
AI Quilt Coach
Questions you ask the AI Quilt Coach are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. These queries are not permanently stored by us. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information about how Google handles data.
Authentication & Community Features
We use Supabase for user authentication and community features (such as shop reviews and submissions). Data stored in Supabase includes your account information and any content you submit.
Analytics
We collect basic app usage analytics to improve StitchLogic. This includes information such as which features are used and general app performance data. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
2. Advertising
The free tier of StitchLogic displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and usage data to serve personalized or contextual ads. For more information, see Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.
Pro subscribers do not see ads, and no ad-related data is collected for Pro users.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the App's features
- To process your account and subscription
- To show nearby quilt shops (location data)
- To respond to your AI Quilt Coach questions
- To send marketing emails (only if you opt in)
- To display ads in the free tier
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may share data with:
- Google (Gemini API) — to process AI Quilt Coach queries
- Google (AdMob) — to serve ads in the free tier
- Supabase — for authentication and data storage
- Apple — for iCloud sync (Pro users)
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- Access, update, or delete your account information at any time in the App settings
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time
- Request deletion of your account by contacting us
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
StitchLogic is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
